Issue:
The brief given to us at that time was to build what was Singapore’s largest site office for one of Singapore’s largest construction sites at that time.

The enormous task was to complete a 3-storey temporary building with a floor plate of 6,000m2 (18,000m2 total) including interior fit-out and ancillary services such as a substation and a holding tank.

How We Helped:
Our team jumped into action from the first day. With good teamwork, grit and a can-do attitude, we planned every last detail. By leveraging the strength of our network of subcontractors and partners, our team managed to make this dream a reality.

One of our largest challenges was the immensely tight timeline given to us meaning that our scheduling had to be flawless.

Result:
We successfully completed all 18,000 m2 of property from the day the contract was inked till the handover ceremony in a record of 75 days.

Transforming a Challenging Building into a Modern Nursing Home

Client — A Boutique Nursing Home in Singapore

Issue:
This was a design and build, addition and alteration project to an existing 4 story building.

The old building had several aspects that were not up to current standards and in carrying out this project, we had to innovatively design around these requirements to get approval from the authorities.

The challenges including, a relatively small footprint, tight building setbacks, small existing lift core and insufficient provisions for fire protection based on current standards.

How We Helped:
We work closely with the clients, our qualified personnel, and the authorities to redesign every floor to cater sufficiently cater for all regulatory and safety provisions while maximizing space for beds as well.

Result:
Our team had to jump through many hoops to make this project a success and it is now a functioning boutique nursing home and training centre providing a cosy home for the elderly.
